ITG Communications is seeking a skilled Fleet and Truck Mechanic in New Hampshire to inspect, maintain, and repair DOT-regulated trucks and equipment. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, perform DOT inspections, and keep precise service records to keep our fleet safe and reliable.

Formación

Minimum 3 years experience in diesel or heavy vehicle repair, including DOT-regulated vehicles.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle inspection requirements.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Responsabilidades

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a fleet of vehicles, including DOT-regulated trucks and light to heavy-duty equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and manual methods.
Conduct DOT-required inspections and maintain accurate service and repair records.
Repair or replace vehicle components such as brakes, engines, transmissions, steering, and suspension systems.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance facility and tools.
Collaborate with fleet managers and drivers to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime.
Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
