Job summary

Lignetics is seeking a Fleet Diesel Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered trucks, trailers, and related equipment. This role ensures fleet safety, uptime, and regulatory compliance in a hands-on shop environment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex systems, and document repairs. Strong Diesel experience with engines, electrical, and aftertreatment systems is required, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license.
Experience maintaining and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Ability to read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance inspections and services on diesel equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and aftertreatment system issues.
Work on engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
Use diagnostic software and electronic troubleshooting tools.
Complete work orders accurately and document repairs performed.
Conduct safety inspections and ensure DOT compliance.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work space.
Respond to road calls and emergency repairs as needed.
Communicate equipment status and repair recommendations to supervisor.
Assist in maintaining parts inventory and shop tools.

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Technician to join our maintenance team. The Diesel Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on diesel-powered trucks, trailers, and related equipment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our fleet operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Fleet Diesel Technician Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance inspections and services on diesel equipment.
