Pittsburgh Transportation Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Fleet Detail Tech to join our overnight operations team. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of our transportation fleet, ensuring every vehicle is prepared to provide a safe, comfortable, and professional experience for our passengers.

What You'll Do as a Fleet Detail Tech:
Vehicle Cleaning & Appearance Maintenance
- Wash, clean, and detail buses, vans, and other transportation vehicles according to company standards.
- Thoroughly sanitize and maintain vehicle interiors and exteriors.
- Vacuum, polish, and clean surfaces to ensure a professional appearance.
- Perform minor cosmetic touch-ups to help maintain fleet presentation.
- Prepare vehicles for daily service and operational readiness.
Fleet Preparation & Support
- Install, remove, and maintain vehicle decals, wraps, and graphics as needed.
- Assist in preparing vehicles for inspections, special events, and operational assignments.
- Identify and report appearance-related concerns that may require additional attention.
- Support various fleet preparation projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Inventory & Facility Upkeep
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and detailing products.
- Restock materials and communicate supply needs to management.
- Keep work areas, wash bays, parking lots, and service areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company safety policies and operational procedures.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience
- Previous experience in vehicle detailing, fleet washing, automotive appearance services, transportation support, or a related field is preferred.
Licenses & Certifications
- Valid driver's license required.
- Hazardous materials cleaning certification is a plus, but not required.
Schedule & Compensation
Schedule: Monday through Friday Hours: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM Pay Rate: $16.40 per hour
