Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous bus detailing or fleet cleaning experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and detail buses to maintain a clean, professional appearance.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize bus interiors and exteriors.
• Perform minor cosmetic touch-ups and appearance-related maintenance as needed.
• Apply, remove, and maintain vehicle decals, wraps, and graphics.
• Prepare buses for inspections, special events, and daily service operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas including wash bays and lots.
• Assist maintenance and operations teams with fleet preparation and support.

Pittsburgh Transportation Group is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Transportation Bus Detailer to help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and readiness of our fleet. This overnight position plays a critical role in ensuring our buses are clean, sanitized, professional, and prepared to provide passengers with a safe and comfortable travel experience each day.

What You'll Do as a Transportation Bus Detailer:

As a Transportation Bus Detailer, you will:

• Wash, clean, and detail buses to maintain a clean and professional appearance
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize bus interiors and exteriors
• Perform minor cosmetic touch‑ups and appearance‑related maintenance as needed
• Apply, remove, and maintain vehicle decals, wraps, and graphics
• Prepare buses for inspections, special events, and daily service operations
• Monitor inventory levels and restock cleaning supplies, detailing products, and equipment
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, including wash bays, parking lots, and service areas
• Assist maintenance and operations teams with vehicle preparation and fleet support duties
• Ensure all buses meet company cleanliness, presentation, and safety standards before returning to service

What We're Looking for as a Transportation Bus Detailer:

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required

Experience

• Previous experience in bus detailing, vehicle washing, fleet cleaning, automotive detailing, or transportation support preferred
• Experience working with buses, motor coaches, commercial vehicles, or large fleet vehicles is a plus

Licenses & Certifications

• Valid driver's license required
• Hazardous materials cleaning certification is a plus but not required

Schedule & Compensation

Shift: Monday-Friday | 10:00 PM-6:00 AM

Pay: $16.40 per hour
