Job summary

Carnival Cruise Line is seeking a Manager, Decarbonization Development in Miami to lead the development of energy efficiency and decarbonization projects fleet-wide. You will identify opportunities, conduct feasibility studies, and prepare business cases for CAPEX approval, coordinating with Technical Operations and external partners.

The role requires 7+ years in energy/marine roles, strong project management, and proficiency in Power BI, Excel, Python/SQL. Travel <25% and a collaborative, leadership-driven mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in energy or marine engineering disciplines.
• Master’s degree is a plus; strong technical credentials.
• Deep knowledge of HVAC-R, chilled water, marine systems, and energy efficiency.
• Strong project management across concept to CAPEX phases; CAPEX support.

Responsibilities

• Lead decarbonization and energy efficiency projects from concept to CAPEX handover.
• Coordinate with engineering consultants, vendors, and external partners.
• Develop technical, operational, and financial justifications for projects.
• Support portfolio CAPEX planning and post-implementation validation.
