Job summary

UACL Logistics, LLC, a subsidiary of Universal Logistics Holding, Inc., is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to manage contractor and driver activities and optimize freight movement across routes. The role requires strong communication, MS Office skills, and a detail-oriented, multi-tasking mindset.

The Fleet Coordinator will liaise with terminal operations, manage internal procedures, handle multiple calls, and generate production and quality reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating contractor and driver activities.
• Managing inbound and outbound freight flow.
• Planning and implementing delivery routes for drivers.
• Effective communication with terminal operations personnel to connect terminal and corporate operations.
• Management of internal operating procedures.
• Processing multiple calls from internal and external customers.
• Owning all communications regarding changes affecting customers.
• Producing reports on production, quality, timeliness, staffing, maintenance, and discrepancies.
• Performing other tasks as delegated by the customer and/or Terminal Manager.
