Fleet Coordinator – Responsibilities
As the Fleet Coordinator at Mattioni Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, you will oversee all aspects of the company's fleet operations while supporting key administrative and operational functions. This role ensures vehicles are safe, compliant, and job‑ready by maintaining accurate records, coordinating repairs, and managing fleet performance and costs. You will play a key role in driving organization, accountability, and efficiency across fleet and warehouse operations, ensuring the team is equipped to perform at a high level every day.
Key Sub Tasks
- Maintain accurate fleet records, including registrations, inspections, and service history.
- Coordinate vehicle repairs, routine maintenance, and inspections, working with vendors to ensure timely, cost‑effective service.
- Monitor fleet condition and take ownership of vehicle readiness, ensuring all vehicles are safe, clean, and operational.
- Track and manage fleet‑related expenses while identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
- Support vehicle onboarding, upfitting, and decommissioning processes.
- Assist with operational reporting and process tracking.
- Ensure accurate documentation and efficient process flow across warehouse operations.
- Partner with leadership to maintain compliance, organization, and accountability standards.
- Monitor fleet performance metrics (downtime, maintenance costs, utilization) and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
- Demonstrate hands‑on mechanical aptitude by performing minor vehicle repairs and basic installations as needed.
- Support fleet inventory cycle counts and inventory control initiatives as needed.
- Support warehouse operations and general facility functions as needed.
Qualifications
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow‑through.
- Take ownership and pride in keeping vehicles and operations running at a high level.
- Possess solid mechanical aptitude, including minor repairs and basic troubleshooting.
- Hands‑on and willing to jump in across fleet, warehouse, and facility needs.
- A proactive problem‑solver who can manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- A strong communicator when working with vendors, leadership, and internal teams.
- Positive, flexible, and team‑oriented.

- Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Job Details
- Job Type: Full‑time
- Pay: $18‑$20 per hour, commensurate with experience, with earning potential of $50,000+ through base pay, bonuses, and overtime (1.5x).
- Schedule: 8‑hour shift; Day shift; Monday to Friday; Overtime
- Supplemental Pay Types: Overtime Pay, Bonus Pay
- Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
