Job summary

TCI Maintenance is expanding and looking for a hard-working Shop Supervisor to lead our busy fleet bodyshop. If you are an Experienced Shop Supervisor with attention to detail, WE WANT YOU!

The role involves managing day-to-day activities in a maintenance repair facility, coordinating breakdown information, dispatching repairs, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm; pay ranges from $28 to $32 per hour depending on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Manage day to day activities in a maintenance repair facility.
• Knowledge of Transportation Industry Required.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Take information for breakdowns and dispatch repairs locally and out of area to minimize downtime.
• Accurately complete written record of work performance.
• Maintain a clean work and shop area per Safety SOPs.
• Communicate with drivers & customers regarding DVIRs (Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports).
• Must possess a valid driver's license, preferably a commercial license.
• Self-motivated & Leadership skills a plus.
• Physically be able to stand for long periods.
• Ability to be on call.

Responsibilities

• Manage shop personnel and provide supervision and productivity of all personnel.
• Monitor yard conditions and provide a safe working environment.
• Monitor overall condition, cleanliness, readiness and reliability.
• On time PM and scheduling.
• Total tire management.
• Proper use and control of shop equipment.
• Daily management quality inspections.
• Prioritize all jobs on work planning sheet daily.
