Job summary

Telle Tire & Auto Service Inc in St. Louis, MO, is seeking a Full-Time Service Technician to diagnose, inspect, maintain, and repair a wide range of vehicles.

You will use digital inspection tools, communicate findings, and work with service advisors to ensure the job is done right the first time. Requirements include a State Vehicle Inspector License, a clean driving record, and at least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as an automotive technician.
• State Vehicle Inspector License – required.
• Refrigerant Recovery Certification – preferred.
• ASE Certifications – preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive digital vehicle inspections.
• Diagnose and repair: Brake and steering systems; HVAC systems and engine cooling components; Engine performance and drivability issues.
• Complete routine maintenance services (coolant, brake, power steering, transmission flushes, etc.).
• Conduct state inspections (emissions and safety).
• Perform wheel alignments, tire rotations, and tire pressure checks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Document work performed accurately using shop management software.
• Collaborate with service advisors and management to ensure workflow and communication.
