Job summary

Pafford Emergency Medical Services / ProMedics seeks a Fleet Electrical Technician to service and repair 12-volt electrical systems on EMS fleet vehicles in Greenwood, MS. You will install emergency lighting, radios, sirens, inverters, and related components, ensuring wiring integrity and adherence to safety standards.

Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics, diagnosing issues with meters and testers, and performing preventative maintenance are core duties.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive electrical systems or related field.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
  • Basic understanding of automotive electrical components and systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair 12-volt electrical systems in fleet vehicles and equipment.
  • Wire and install emergency lighting, radios, sirens, inverters, and related components.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment (multimeter, circuit testers, etc.).
