Control Air Enterprises LLC is looking to hire an organized, timely, and respectful Fleet Mechanic to join our Shop division at our headquarters in Anaheim, CA.

Objective

The objective of this role is to perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on gasoline and diesel fleet vehicles. Our primary goal is to provide safe, reliable transportation to our employees.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on gasoline and diesel vehicles, including light and heavy-duty trucks/vans (Ford, Chevy, Nissan, Dodge Ram, Toyota, International, Freightliner).
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various vehicle issues such as fluid changes, tire rotations, belts, hoses, check engine lights, transmission service, clutch replacements, etc.
• Identify and communicate all required parts and materials.
• Follow all safety measures set forth by management.
• Perform other general shop duties as needed.

Knowledge and Abilities

• Proficient in gasoline and diesel engine repair and maintenance.
• Proficient in troubleshooting automotive electrical wiring.
• Proficient in resolving Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
• Own and maintain a comprehensive set of tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Effective communication with vendors and suppliers.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Capable of performing tasks requiring heavy physical effort, occasionally in inclement weather.

Qualifications

• Specialized training or certification in automotive repair/diesel engines.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience.
