Job summary

Avis Budget Group is looking for a Fleet Operations Associate to help keep our Zipcar fleet ready across New York City. You will clean, inspect, fuel, and coordinate minor repairs, ensuring every vehicle on the road meets our standards for member readiness.

You may travel around the city by foot, bike, or Zipcar to move cars as needed. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, working outdoors in various conditions, and a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license.
• Strong time-management and communication skills.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and handle tools or marketing materials.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicle readiness across the city, including cleaning, fueling, and minor maintenance.
• Coordinate tow or repair logistics to ensure Zipcar members are 'member-ready'.
• Transport vehicles as needed using walking, cycling, or Zipcar where appropriate.
