Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Romulus, MI is hiring a Fleet Operations Associate to keep Zipcar fleets ready. You will travel around Detroit area on foot, bike, or Zipcar to ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and properly staged for members.

This role requires strong time management, clear communication with the operations team, and willingness to work outdoors. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are essential.

• Flexible to work 40-hour weeks including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

As a Fleet Operations Associate, you will work all around the city as part of our Fleet Operations Team to ensure cars are clean, maintained and transport them to where they need to be for our Zipcar members. You'll zip around by foot, bike, public transit or use a Zipcar to ensure our vehicles are 'member-ready' - this might mean changing a tire, filling the gas tank, cleaning, or helping to coordinate a tow or repair.
