Job summary

Budget Car and Truck Rental of Nebraska is seeking an experienced fleet maintenance assistant to support our rental fleet. The role includes performing oil changes, tire repairs and routine maintenance on in-fleet and out-fleet vehicles, and ordering necessary supplies and parts.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, responsible, handy, and a team player. Hours are typically Monday–Friday with standard 8-hour shifts, approximately 40 hours per week, and work outdoors as required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs as part of daily tasks.
• 21 years of age or older to meet insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record with reliable safety history.
• Experience performing tire repairs and oil changes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental fleet by performing oil changes and tire repairs/replacements.
• In fleet all new vehicles and out fleet vehicles as they are sold.
• Order supplies/parts and assist with light mechanical duties.
