Job summary

Bosch is seeking a Fleet and EHS Manager to oversee company-owned distribution in the US, guiding safety, quality, and operations across 125 locations and 300+ vehicles. The role emphasizes incident management, training, audits, and compliance while coordinating forklift and driver programs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in store operations and logistics with a safety/quality focus, a Bachelor's degree, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of experience in store operations and logistics with emphasis on safety and quality in business operations.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee incident management, reporting, and training within Safety.
• Lead safety committee activities and drive improvement and audits.
• Coordinate quality across warehouse and transportation.
• Manage store and warehouse operations including onboarding and forklift training/certification.
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures.
• Coordinate driver and fleet activities including DOT compliance and telematics monitoring.
• Serve as primary contact for maintenance, lease management, carrier relations and claims.
• Oversee purchasing with OEMs for vehicles and forklifts; ensure timely vendor payments.
• Support Head of Fleet and EHS and perform additional duties as assigned.

Job description

This position oversees and guides all company owned distribution throughout the country to ensure all their Fleet and EHS operations, which includes quality, are operating uniformly according to prescribed practices and procedures. Currently there are over 125 locations and over 300 vehicles, which support the business – and growing. The Fleet and EHS Manager, through coaching and the utilization of metrics, will assist the Head of Fleet and EHS to ensure Branch Operations Team to drive continuous improvement and improve the customer experience.

• Purchasing and AP:
  • Work with OEMs for Vehicles and Forklifts for purchasing negotiations, maintenance, and strategic needs in the future.
  • Work with AP to ensure all vendors are paid in a timely effective manner.
• Assist the Head of Fleet and EHS of Company Owned Distribution as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

• A combined 5+ years’ experience in store operations and logistics an emphasis in Safety and Quality in business operations is desired.
• Bachelor's degree required
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel
