Job summary

KLA is seeking a Fleet Engineer to optimize semiconductor tool fleets at the Phoenix, AZ area. You will measure performance, build data-driven insights, and drive improvements across process control systems. Your work will involve Python-based models, SQL data pipelines, and cross-functional collaboration.

The role emphasizes statistical analysis, debugging tool data, and improving throughput and availability in a fast-paced fab environment. Strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in semiconductor industry and process control is preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Fleet Management: ensure fleet and tools meet availability and throughput commitments.
• Tool Connectivity: ensure data pipelines between process control tools and analytics platform work as expected.
• Statistical Analysis: analyze tool data to identify trends and potential issues.
• Excursion Identification: monitor tool behavior and coordinate root cause analysis.
• Continuous Improvement: stay updated with process control advancements and propose enhancements.
