Job summary

Altria Compounds LLC (ACL) in Richmond, VA seeks a Senior Technician to manage ingredients and flavor production, ensuring accurate receipt, staging, warehousing and compounding per cGMP requirements. The role involves SAP-based recipe execution, calibration checks, inventory control, and safe handling of materials.

Responsibilities include receiving materials, labeling, and shipping, plus adherence to DOT and RCRA requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in flavor manufacturing or similar industry.
• Familiar with cGMP practices and PPE usage.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory and daily reconciliations of production materials.
• Perform physical inventory and ensure LIFO/FIFO compliance.
• Follow flavor formulas to compound flavors from SAP.
• Verify calibrated equipment and document checks per QMS schedule.
• Receive and enter raw materials into SAP and label/warehouse materials.
• Manage shipping for finished products and hazardous materials per DOT.
