Job summary

Trilogy Flavors in Maryland seeks an organized Lab Technician to support product development, sensory evaluation, and general lab operations. You will assist Flavorists with preparing, applying, and evaluating raw materials and finished flavors to meet strategic goals.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 12+ college credits or 4 years of lab experience; GLP and GMP knowledge.
Technical: Basic cooking, math, and PC skills.
Soft skills: Problem-solving, time management, teamwork, flexibility, decision-making, and communication.

Responsibilities

Compounding: Gather raw materials to compound formulas according to project requirements.
Ideation & Development: Assist with creative ideation and product development under Flavorist guidance.
Application: Apply flavors to finished products for tasting and evaluation.
Lab Operations: Manage inventory, maintain equipment, and uphold strict safety and sanitation standards.
Sensory Evaluation: Set up and execute lab-level sensory testing.
Project Support: Assist with customer meetings and trade shows.
Collaboration: Communicate project updates and timelines effectively with cross-functional teams.
