Job summary

dsm-firmenich in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Compounder on 2nd shift to operate mixing and filling equipment and to deliver precise blends of flavor and fragrance formulations. You will follow blending instructions, read formulas, and use SAP and DeltaV to manage transfers and inventory.

This role requires 1–3 years of packing and compounding, GMP/HACCP knowledge, forklift experience, and the ability to stand most of the day. We offer competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of packing and compounding experience and understanding of special formula instructions.
• Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP.
• Forklift experience and ability to be on your feet up to 90% of the day.

Responsibilities

• Operate drum filling machinery, centrifuge, and related equipment to form flavor or fragrance blends.
• Read blending instructions accurately and blend chemicals accordingly.
• Issue materials and resolve SAP-related transfer orders and inventory discrepancies.
• Use computer systems to access formulas, check raw material availability, post batches, and print labels.
• Follow safety, quality and operational procedures in compounding and container filling.
