I. Rice & Co. is seeking a candidate to support the R&D department by developing formulas through sample batch runs and by documenting results to ensure proper next steps across facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Food Science (or related field) with 1–2 years in manufacturing, strong bench and labeling skills, and the ability to work in lab, office, and plant environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Competenze

• Experience in handling formulas, specifications, and processing procedures.
• Proven ability to maintain accurate documentation of formulations and testing.
• Ability to participate in tastings, flavor testing and sensory evaluations.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Must weigh/measure and mix dry or liquid ingredients using various equipment.
• Assist in preparation of formulas, specifications, processing procedures, and other technical material.
• Maintain documentation on product formulations, testing, and evaluation of products.
• Execute sensory evaluation of new products.
• Support cross-functional team members to meet deadlines.
• Participate in all team activities, including tastings and sensory evaluations.
• Maintain proper lab conditions and equipment maintenance.
• Be capable of working in lab, office and plant areas.
