Job summary

Wingstop is looking for a friendly cashier to take and process orders, handle payments, and keep the front of house running smoothly at our Katy, TX location. You will coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are accurate and on time while delivering a positive guest experience.

Experience as a cashier or in a restaurant is a plus; Food Handler Certification is required. We offer discounted meals, flexible schedules, and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Prior cashier or restaurant experience is a plus.
• Food Handler Certification is required.
• Strong cash handling and POS knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers entering the restaurant.
• Take orders in person and over the phone; upsell and know the menu and promotions.
• Process cash, credit card, and gift card transactions accurately.
• Verify age for alcohol purchases when required.
• Maintain cleanliness of Front of House and ensure a welcoming environment.
• Balance the cash drawer at shift end and prepare for the next shift.
• Assist kitchen staff as needed to ensure timely orders.
• Handle customer questions and resolve issues or escalate to a manager.
