Job summary

Synergy Flavors, Inc. in Wauconda, IL, is seeking an Emulsion and Extract Operator for the 2nd shift. You will set up and monitor blending, extraction, and filtration processes while ensuring sanitary practices and accurate batch documentation.

The role involves operating and maintaining equipment, lifting heavy items, and following safety guidelines. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered with a Monday–Friday 2:00 pm–10:30 pm schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience compounding batches.
• Ability to multitask and communicate effectively.
• Chemical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, and controls processes, i.e. blending, extraction and filtration.
• Operates process and utility equipment in a hygienic and safe manner.
• Calibrates, and monitors instruments, e.g. filter press, chiller, homogenizers.
• Teardown, cleans and re-assembles equipment, washes lines.
• Completes batch sheets and necessary paperwork.
• Lifts heavy drums and bags; follows PPE requirements.
