Job summary

Synergy Flavors, Inc. is hiring a Production Operator to add raw materials to a blender and help produce a quality finished product. Forklift operation is required.

You will move materials, verify counts, follow the formula sequence, discharge and sample the blend, package to the correct weight, and complete daily production reports. You will also clean equipment and maintain GMP standards. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, manufacturing experience preferred, and be able to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memos, and simple correspondence.
• Basic math and measurement skills required.
• English reading/writing and communication skills essential.
• Annual Operator Training must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move materials between areas.
• Verify counts of raw materials for blending.
• Add raw materials to blender per formula sequence.
• Discharge blended product using prescribed screen size.
• Sample blended product and document results.
• Package product to prescribed weight.
• Complete daily production report documenting production, quality and performance.
• Clean and sanitize blender, sifter, and support equipment.
• Maintain clean work station; observe GMPs.
• Disposal of trash and debris per procedures.
• Adhere to department procedures and GMP guidelines.
• Maintain performance standards and safety.
