Job summary

Synergy Flavors (OH) LLC is seeking a team member to lead the Extraction Department in our flavors manufacturing facility. This role monitors equipment, follows sanitary practices, moves and lifts products into hoppers, and packs liquid products into containers for shipment.

You will set up and control processes such as blending, extraction and filtration; perform documentation; operate PLC-controlled equipment; maintain sanitation schedules; and ensure safety and adherence to cGMP and HAACP

Responsibilities

• Sets up and controls processes such as blending, extraction and filtration.
• Completes appropriate documentation.
• Operates process and utility equipment following cGMP and HAACP guidelines.
• Maintains safety awareness and accident prevention in all tasks.
• Tends instruments (pH, temperature, conductivity, hydrometer, thermometers).
• Tears down, cleans and re-assembles equipment (pumps, grinders, valves).
• Records readings and test results; follows steps to package products to specifications.
