Job summary

Cdl A Sense is hiring experienced Class A OTR flatbed drivers in the Birmingham, AL area. Earn an average of $1,500–$1,800 take-home per week with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and full benefits. Drivers can take the truck home with the trailer; weeks at home are possible with some regional variations. Orientation runs Monday through Thursday.

We provide modern equipment (Cascadias and T680s), travel coverage, and a supportive rider/pet program from day one with no cost to you.

Qualifications

• Must have one year of verifiable OTR experience in the last 5 years, with at least 6 months dedicated to flatbed hauling involving steel and pipes.
• No more than one at-fault accident in the last three years.
• DOT Recordable in the last year will be reviewed.
• If you have more than 6 jobs in the last three years you are ineligible for the sign-on bonus.
• You cannot be terminated from your last job for any safety violation.
• Location: Birmingham, AL.
• Orientations run Monday to Thursday.
• Travel expenses covered ( plane, rental car or mileage ) and solo hotel room and meals.

Responsibilities

• Operate flatbed trailers to haul steel and pipes.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and logbooks.
• Coordinate with dispatch for regional routes and time-sensitive deliveries.

If you are an experienced Class A OTR Flatbed driver looking to be homeweekends, we offer an average of $1500-$1800 take home per week!

What Drivers Are Offered.

• Competitive Pay: Earn an average of $1500-$1800 per week,with a generous $5000 sign-on bonus. Receive your first $1500 afterdropping your first load!
• Home Weekends: Enjoy weekends at home, with a minimum of34 hours up to 48 hours. Southern Texas and select Florida areas mayrequire longer time on the road (2 weeks).
• Steady Work: Run a five-state regional route, potentially covering all 48 states.
• Modern Equipment: Drive top-of-the-line Cascadias andT680s with automatic transmissions. Can take truck home but must includethe trailer. If you don't have a place to park, you can park at a truck stop as longas you have a Dash Valve Lock.
• Diverse Freight: Approximately 40-50% of our freight is tarped

Requirements:
