Job summary

Commercial Metals Company is seeking a safety-minded CDL delivery driver to join our regional fleet. You will manage delivery paperwork, perform pre-trip inspections, and ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and delivered on schedule.

This role requires a valid Class A CDL, ability to pass DOT requirements, and the willingness to work flexible hours outdoors in varying weather conditions. You will be part of a team focused on safe, compliant transport and customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).
• Ability to pass DOT physicals and drug testing.
• May require knowledge of DOT regulations and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete delivery paperwork and communicate load or timing issues with dispatch, sales, and customers.
• Conduct daily pre-trip, in-trip, and post-trip inspections of truck and cargo.
• Deliver products to customers, contractors, and jobsites within the region.
• Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE.
• Load, secure, and deliver cargo safely and on time.
• Maintain vehicle service and repair logs in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Operate vehicles using ELDs and safety dashcams.
• Work flexible hours based on business needs.
