Job summary

The County Materials Family of Companies is hiring a Flat Bed CDL Driver in Custer, WI to transport freight with a flatbed tractor-trailer. This role requires attention to detail, safe loading, and DOT compliance, while delivering excellent customer service and on-time arrivals.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, tarp and secure loads, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure efficient routes. Minimum 2 years driving experience and a valid CDL are required; physical requirements and

• Minimum of 2 years driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and efficient transportation of goods using flatbed tractor-trailer equipment.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service when interacting with customers and site personnel.
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and in-route inspections of tractor, trailer, and securement equipment.
• Secure and tarp loads properly in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Operate tractor-trailer combinations in a safe and professional manner.
• Maintain compliance with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety regulations.
