Job summary

Timpson Transport is seeking experienced Class A CDL flatbed drivers to haul oversize and heavy freight primarily within Michigan, with occasional out-of-state trips. Home most nights with Monday–Friday schedule and occasional overnights.

Assigned truck, strong earning potential, and specialized freight experience are highlighted. Eligible drivers bring flatbed experience, load-securement skills, and the ability to meet insurance and background screening Requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Flatbed and oversize/heavy freight experience.
• Strong load-securement knowledge.
• Ability to meet insurance and background screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A flatbed and multi-axle equipment.
• Transport oversize and heavy freight.
• Secure loads and follow permits, routes and escort requirements.
• Coordinate with dispatch on routes, delivery schedules and customer requirements.
• Maintain assigned equipment and complete required load documentation.
