Job summary

Timpson Transport is seeking experienced Class A CDL Flatbed Drivers to haul oversize and heavy freight across Michigan, with occasional out-of-state trips. You will operate flatbed and multi-axle equipment, secure loads, and navigate permits and escort requirements.

You’ll work Monday–Friday with home most nights, earn strong compensation ($95K–$105K+), and enjoy a full benefits package and an assigned truck. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of flatbed experience and a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 2 years of flatbed experience.
• Experience with oversize/heavy freight and securement.
• Ability to meet MVR, drug and background screening requirements.
• Willingness to occasional overnight or out-of-state trips.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A flatbed and multi-axle equipment.
• Transport oversize, overweight, and specialized freight.
• Secure loads including precast concrete panels and bridge beams.
• Follow permits, routes, escort requirements, and DOT rules.
• Complete pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain equipment.
• Coordinate with dispatch on routes and delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate load and driver documentation.
• Occasionally work overnight or on weekends as needed.
