Job summary

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-trip inspections prior to driving each day.
• Plan shortest/fastest routes based on load.
• Ensure weight distribution is legal and loads are secured.
• Load/unload truck as needed and assist with duties.
• Communicate delays or issues to supervisor.
• Collect CODs and return payments to office.
• Perform warehouse tasks when driving work is unavailable.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and report issues promptly.
• Complete post-trip inspection at day end.
• Maintain professional conduct with customers and employees.
