Job summary

Responsibilities

• Drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck to transport material between plants, mills, and warehouses.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
• Plan routes, check weight distribution, and secure loads with chains and tarps.
• Assist with loading/unloading and maintain truck in good working order.
• Report delays or issues to supervisor and address customer comments.
• Keep truck clean and safe; perform other duties as assigned.
