Job summary

Preston Auto Group in New Castle, PA, is seeking a motivated Automotive Flat Rate Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain customers' vehicles to manufacturer standards in a fast-paced dealership setting.

You will work with a skilled team using modern diagnostic equipment, receive ongoing training, and have opportunities for advancement. Benefits include health, dental & vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, and paid training.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of automotive technician experience preferred.
• ASE certification a plus, or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Own tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance per manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and computer system issues.
• Road test vehicles and use diagnostic equipment as needed.
• Communicate additional repair needs to the Service Advisor.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and parts.
• Maintain an accurate record of parts and time on each repair order.
