Job summary

Fred Martin Collision Center in the Greater Akron area is seeking a high-level Collision Body Technician who can move metal, diagnose damage, and turn hours into finished work. You’ll participate in full teardown, frame repair, welding, and plastic/body work across all makes and models.

Qualifications

• Collision experience across all makes & models.
• Strong diagnostic ability — not just a parts changer.
• Ability to produce in a flat-rate environment.
• Team player who doesn’t slow the shop down.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Full teardown and accurate damage assessment
• Read and work directly from repair estimates — communicate supplements when needed
• Perform repairs to OEM, I-Car, and AllData standards
• Frame repair/replacement, welding, and structural work
• Plastic repair and full body work across all makes & models
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and move efficiently
