Job summary

Fred Martin Collision Center in the Greater Akron area seeks a high-level Collision Body Technician. You will perform teardown, assess damage, and repair to OEM, I-CAR, and AllData standards while maintaining an efficient, organized shop floor.

Qualifications

• Collision experience across all makes and models.
• Strong diagnostic ability—not just a parts changer.
• Ability to operate in a flat-rate environment.
• Team player who keeps the shop moving.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Full teardown and accurate damage assessment.
• Read and work directly from repair estimates; communicate supplements when needed.
• Perform repairs to OEM, I-CAR, and AllData standards.
• Frame repair/replacement, welding, and structural work.
• Plastic repair and full body work across all makes & models.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and move efficiently.

We run abusy shop with consistent work. If you’re tired of slow weeks, poor estimates, or shops that hold you back, this is where you step up.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Full teardown and accurate damage assessment
• Read and work directly from repair estimates — communicate supplements when needed
• Perform repairs toOEM, I-Car, and AllData standards
• Frame repair/replacement, welding, and structural work
• Plastic repair and full body work across all makes & models
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and move efficiently

• Team player who doesn’t slow the shop down
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent
