Job summary

Construction Resources seeks a Machine Operator - Flat Line (Feeder/Catcher) to safely handle machine operations aligned with production schedules. You will load materials, monitor performance, and ensure quality while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to read drawings and follow specs. This full-time position includes standard hours with overtime as needed, and a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in wood fabrication.
• Physical stamina to lift and maneuver heavy sheet goods and operate machinery safely.
• Effective communication and ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines, adjust settings, and load/unload materials to ensure proper operation.
• Monitor outputs, production rates, and material usage to meet targets and quality standards.
• Cut, shape, and profile wood-based materials according to drawings and specs.
• Ensure alignment, symmetry, and minimal waste in cuts.
• Inspect components for defects and perform dimensional checks and quality tests.
• Follow safety protocols, wear PPE, and perform routine maintenance.
