Alternate Number Five Inc. seeks a Flat Laser Operator to set up, operate, and maintain flat laser cutting machines for metal parts. You will ensure precision, quality, and on‑time production, while following safety protocols and documenting settings and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Some manufacturing experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn.
• Able to read calipers for dimensional analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and technical specs is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive learning approach.
• Good communication and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Willingness to follow instructions and safety procedures.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate flat laser cutting machines to cut metal sheets per specs.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and adjust equipment as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on laser machines to maintain performance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot machine performance and output.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of settings, runs, and maintenance.
• Follow PPE and safety guidelines and participate in improvements.
• Assist in training new operators on operations and safety.
