Job summary

Speedy Glass in Tacoma, WA is seeking an experienced Flat Glass Technician to install and repair residential and light commercial glass. Join a growing team focused on quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

You will handle insulated glass, doors, mirrors, skylights, and storefronts, require 3–5 years of residential glass experience and a valid driver’s license; pay ranges from $25 to $35 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years Residential Glass experience
• State issued Driver’s license and clean driving record
• Physical Requirements: lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds, standing, bending, long periods of time on your feet

Responsibilities

• Carry out residential glass installation and repair, including insulated glass replacement, single pane glass, patio doors, mirrors, shower doors, skylights, table-tops, and more.
• Install and repair commercial glass including entry doors, storefronts, door closers, swings, sweeps, and thresholds.
• Ensure equipment, materials and work areas comply with all regulations and requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service to every guest, every time.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

As a Flat Glass Technician, you will

• Carry out residential glass installation and repair, including insulated glass replacement, single pane glass, patio doors, mirrors, shower doors,vinyl & wood replacement windows, skylights, table-tops, railings & screens
• Install and repair commercial glass including: glass entry doors, storefront metal/glass, door closers, swings, sweeps, and thresholds
• Ensure equipment, materials and areas of operation comply with all regulations and requirements
• Provide exceptional customer service to every guest, every time
• Perform all other duties as assigned

You will need
