Job summary

Speedy Glass in Portland, OR is seeking a Flat Glass Technician to join our residential installation team. You will perform glass installation and repair on a variety of residential projects, ensuring safety and quality in every job.

We offer industry-leading training, competitive wages based on experience, and comprehensive benefits. Applicants should have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift up to 75 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out residential glass installation and repair, including insulated glass replacement, single pane glass, patio doors, mirrors, and skylights.
• Install and repair commercial glass including entry doors, storefronts, door closers, and thresholds.
• Ensure equipment, materials and work areas comply with regulations and safety requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service to every guest, every time.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

As a Flat Glass Technician, you will

• Carry out residential glass installation and repair, including insulated glass replacement, single pane glass, patio doors, mirrors, shower doors, vinyl & wood replacement windows, skylights, table‑tops, railings & screens
• Install and repair commercial glass including: glass entry doors, storefront metal/glass, door closers, swings, sweeps, and thresholds
• Ensure equipment, materials and areas of operation comply with all regulations and requirements
• Provide exceptional customer service to every guest, every time
• Perform all other duties as assigned

You will need

• State‑issued Driver’s license and clean driving record
• Physical Requirements: lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds, standing, bending, long periods of time on your feet
