Job summary

Hapco Pole Products in Minnesota is seeking a skilled production worker for the Flagpole Production Department. You will build/fabricate flagpoles and aluminum shafts, assemble components, and weld according to progression steps while maintaining accurate records in the computer systems.

The role requires the ability to read blueprints, interpret BOMs, operate material handling equipment safely, and participate in inventory controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; valid driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings.
• Experience with welding and metal fabrication.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Ability to track materials using BOMs and shop orders.
• Safe operation of material handling equipment (forklift/pallet jack).
• Proficiency with inventory control and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Build and fabricate flagpoles and aluminum shafts per customer orders.
• Assemble parts like brackets, eagles, and specialty products.
• Weld products following wage/learning progression.
• Read and interpret BOMs and job orders for inventory control.
• Move materials with forklift or pallet jack and maintain safety.
• Prepare product for shipment and maintain stock records.
• Maintain timekeeping and track jobs in CSI system.
