Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain traffic control devices, signs, and cones to guide traffic through construction zones.
• Communicate clearly with drivers using hand signals and verbal commands to ensure safe passage.
• Monitor traffic flow and adjust control measures to minimize congestion and enhance safety.
• Collaborate with construction crews to coordinate timing of road operations and disruptions.
• Observe and enforce safety regulations to protect workers and the public.
• Report incidents or unsafe conditions to supervisors promptly.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to stay informed on best practices.
