Western Engineering Co., Inc. is seeking a seasoned Flagger Lead to supervise flagging operations on road construction projects. This seasonal leadership role requires strong traffic control background, safety commitment, and the ability to mentor a team in a fast-paced work zone.

You will coordinate closures, set up signs and cones, monitor traffic flow, enforce safety rules, and report incidents to supervisors. Valid driver's license and physical mobility are required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with project managers and crews to coordinate road closures and traffic control.
• Set up and maintain traffic control devices, signs, and cones.
• Lead the flagger team and provide breaks.
• Monitor traffic flow and adjust control measures to minimize congestion.
• Observe and enforce safety regulations to protect personnel and the public.
• Report incidents or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
