We search public records and examine titles to determine the legal condition of property titles, primarily for residential properties. Our team copies or summarizes recorded documents affecting the title's condition. Roles may be based in production centers or branch offices, with workflow typically determined by geographic practices. The Title Examiner gathers information and creates a title commitment before passing it to a Title Officer.
Works independently, using experience to examine real property titles of varying complexity to determine status and establish the chain of title.
Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure

Pay Range: $20.72 - $27.62
This range reflects an estimate of the base pay at posting time. Actual pay depends on factors like knowledge, skills, experience, business needs, and location.
