Qualifications

• Active Florida CLP Technologist license in good standing.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
• Rotating second shift and weekend coverage required.
• Background checks prior to start are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemistry, immunoassay, and other tests per procedures.
• Verify patient identifiers and specimen suitability; address labeling issues.
• Operate analyzers, perform calibrations, QC, and maintenance.
• Review results and release after verification within authorization.
• Enter/record data in LIS and maintain testing, QC, and reagent records.
• Follow safety, infection prevention, and confidentiality guidelines.
• Coordinate shift handoffs and communicate instrument issues.
