• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform tool design and fabrication using general mechanic tools.
• Provide input to develop cost estimates for tooling and equipment.
• Design and fabricate racks, carts, tables and simple fixtures.
• Read blueprints and technical publications to perform duties.
• Fabricate complex fixtures and tooling as needed.
• Evaluate needs and suggest actions to improve manufacturing productivity.
• Comply with safety and housekeeping policies.
