A Day In The Life

The Fixed Operations Field Manager reports to the Director, Fixed Field, providing in-dealership best practices to optimize parts and service performance and enhance customer experience. Responsibilities include driving wholesale parts sales, supporting sales development, and key fixed operations initiatives. The role requires 75% travel and involves activities like parts loyalty, inventory optimization, training, and dealer support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive growth in wholesale parts sales (collision & mechanical).
  • Develop dealer contacts and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct business development visits and support parts training.
  • Report performance, analyze opportunities, and recommend actions.
  • Utilize tools like PSX, RepairLink, OPS, CollisionLink, CCC.
  • Collaborate with GST field on parts business.
  • Understand TMS/GST programs and Parts Manager responsibilities.
  • Support inventory and program system improvements.
  • Promote dealer parts loyalty and identify lost sales opportunities.
  • Support dealership service growth and customer experience enhancements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to work independently, motivate others, and solve problems.
  • Strong business, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-organized with good planning skills.
  • GST 5 State Auto Manufacturer licenses required.
  • Valid in-state Driver's License.
Physical & Environmental Requirements

Position involves significant travel and exposure to various environments, including automotive settings, with potential exposure to noise, chemicals, and weather conditions.

Travel Requirements

70% travel expected.
