Job summary

Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Fixed Income IT Trading Implementation Lead in New York to drive a multi-year Murex transformation across front office and risk functions.

You will lead architecture, delivery, and governance for complex capital markets initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders in North America, Europe, and vendor organizations. The role requires deep fixed income and derivatives experience, strong leadership, and a track record delivering large-scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, computer science, or related field.
• 10+ years in capital markets or financial services with deep fixed income/derivatives knowledge.
• 5+ years delivering Murex implementations, upgrades, or major enhancements.
• Strong understanding of Fixed Income and OTC derivatives processing.
• Experience delivering XVA, risk, or valuation platform initiatives.
• Proven track record leading global technology teams and strategic transformation programs.
• Ability to elicit complex requirements and translate into practical Murex designs and technical specs.
• Excellent delivery management including risk and dependency management, and executive communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as functional lead and solution architect to extend Murex to onboard a new European booking entity (Project Delta).
• Manage a geographically distributed team across North America, EMEA, and vendor organizations.
• Define scalable, maintainable solutions aligned with business requirements and Murex capabilities.
• Collaborate with Murex, infrastructure, and application teams, and with traders, analysts, operations, risk and finance stakeholders.
• Lead requirements, design, and solution-validation workshops; translate processes into specs, configurations, interfaces, and delivery plans.
• Drive cross-functional execution, manage dependencies/risks, and report status with PMO support.
• Establish target operating model for European entity and retain ownership post-implementation.
• Lead analysis/delivery of new Murex functionality and platform enhancements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce debt, and improve controls and resilience.
• Support end-to-end testing, migration, go-live, and stabilization for business readiness.
