Job summary

Victory Income Investors will hire a Fixed Income Trading Intern for eight weeks during Summer 2027, to learn how an institutional trading desk operates and to support traders and portfolio managers. You will work on market structure, pricing and execution while gaining exposure to Bloomberg, MarketAxess and other platforms.

No prior trading experience is required. This on-site internship reports to the Head of Fixed Income Trading and requires a commitment to five days per week in the office,

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to Investment Grade Corporate, High Yield, Structured Product and Municipal trading desks.
• Learn how institutional fixed income trades are sourced, evaluated and executed.
• Work with traders to understand market structure, liquidity, pricing and execution.
• Interact with portfolio managers and research analysts on investment decisions.
• Develop relationships with the broker-dealer community.
• Assist with market research, trade analysis and desk projects.
• Complete a project or presentation to demonstrate learned knowledge.
