Job summary

The Tidal Financial Group is seeking a skilled Trading Associate to support ETF portfolio implementation and day-to-day management, with a focus on fixed income trading, cash positioning, and collateral oversight.

This role spans the full trade lifecycle, requiring strong analytical and operational judgment and proficiency with Bloomberg or similar platforms; 3+ years in institutional trading is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or equivalent.
• 3+ years in institutional trading, portfolio ops, treasury, or cash management with fixed income experience.
• Experience with institutional trading platforms (Bloomberg) and investment advisers.
• Strong understanding of markets, trade settlement, and collateral processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist traders with executing fixed income and equity transactions, with emphasis on fixed incomemarkets.
• Support portfolio rebalances, new fund launches, and in-kind baskets using Bloomberg and OMS for oversight.
• Coordinate with prime brokers, market makers, custodians, and counterparties for best execution and efficiency.
• Monitor market trends, portfolio positioning, and performance relative to fund objectives and competitors.
• Perform daily trading operations including allocation, settlement monitoring, and reconciliation.
