Job summary

J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s Global Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (GFICC) team seeks an Investment Director Associate to conduct comprehensive risk analyses and generate detailed risk reports for fixed income strategies.

You will collaborate with technology and operations partners, liaise with portfolio managers and GFICC management, and deliver risk insights at portfolio and strategy levels. You will also work with our internal tech team to innovate, develop, and test new risk

Qualifications

Excellent oral and written communications, able to discuss risk figures and meet deadlines.
Strong understanding of the sources of risk for fixed income rates, credit products, and structured/securitized products.
Experience evaluating risk and interpreting model outputs for bonds, derivatives and structured/securitized products.
Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience or a graduate degree in STEM or Finance.

Responsibilities

Provide risk reports and risk analysis at portfolio level and strategy level by examining qualitative and quantitative factors.
Prepare risk/performance review material for discussion with strategy CIOs and portfolio managers.
Work with internal tech team to innovate, develop and test new risk reports and analysis tools.
Interact regularly with portfolio managers, investment specialists, business management, finance, and Tech/Ops partners, and other internal stakeholders to support GFICC-wide agenda.
