Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Investment Grade Credit and Rates Trader within the GFICC Trading Team in New York.

You will originate and execute trade ideas, work with portfolio managers and research to drive investment implementation, and maintain broker relationships in a fast-paced environment. You should bring at least a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in fixed income, with strong Python programming and the ability to apply AI to trading efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in fixed income markets and/or financial services.
• Strong programming skills (Python and/or other languages) and interest in applying AI to increase trading efficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to generate investment ideas and contribute to portfolio outcomes.

The Global Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities team (GFICC) at J.P. Morgan Asset Management is one of the world’s deepest and best-resourced fixed income managers, with expertise across all major fixed income sectors, including niche markets. Every investment decision in our fixed income solutions is underpinned by the proprietary research of a globally integrated team of sector specialists. Our shared research language, combining fundamental, quantitative valuation and technical inputs, facilitates the comparison of ideas across sectors and geographies. Global Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities manages a broad range of strategies, through funds and/or separate accounts, including investment grade credit, high yield, emerging market debt, unconstrained and aggregate strategies, long duration, stable value, FX, short duration, global bonds, structured products, mortgages and tax-aware strategies.

As an Investment Grade Credit and Rates Trader on the Global Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (GFICC) Trading Team, you will operate in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with portfolio managers across regions, our global research team, and the broader trading platform. GFICC manages approximately $1T in AUM across the entire fixed income market. You will originate and execute trade ideas, articulate market views, and partner closely with PMs and research to drive investment implementation.

• CFA designation or progress toward CFA, or other relevant certifications, is a plus.
